Our Privacy Philosophy

Revertii was built because we believe your financial data should stay yours. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal information. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how it is handled in our cloud-synced environment.

⚠️ Pre-Launch & Waitlist Phase Notice

Revertii is currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase. During this period, we only collect the email addresses of users who actively sign up for the waitlist. We do not collect credit card details, payment history, Google OAuth authentication tokens, or personal subscription database records, as these features are under active development and will be activated upon the official product launch.

1. Cloud Data Storage & Encryption

Revertii operates as a cloud-synced application. Your subscription entries, categories, billing amounts, and reminder settings are stored securely in our cloud database. This data:

  • Is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard security protocols.
  • Is stored in a secure cloud infrastructure (powered by Supabase) and is only accessible to you when signed into your account. We never sell, rent, or share your subscription details.
  • Requires an active internet connection to sync, update, and manage your subscriptions.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data only when you actively provide it:

a) Account Registration & Authentication

When you create an account, we collect your email address. We support authentication via email/password and Google OAuth. This account data is used strictly to secure your access, sync your subscriptions across devices, and manage your subscription tier.

b) Payment Information

When you purchase a Pro subscription or Lifetime License, payment is handled entirely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card number, CVV, or bank details. Paddle processes your payment under their Privacy Policy.

c) Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as page views, load times, and browser types. These tools do not use cookies and do not track individual users across sessions.

d) Anonymous Subscription Telemetry

To help us analyze market-wide subscription trends (such as subscription adoption and churn rates), the Service transmits anonymized event logs when a subscription is added or removed. This data contains no personal identifiers, user IDs, email addresses, or device IDs. It consists solely of the service name (e.g., Netflix), price, and billing frequency.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Email: To send account credentials, password resets, and critical product announcements. We will never send unsolicited marketing emails.
  • Analytics & Telemetry: To analyze general subscription trends, track macro-level consumer spending habits, monitor service churn rates, and improve app functionality. This data is entirely anonymous and aggregated.
  • Payment records: Managed entirely by Paddle. We receive only a confirmation of your purchase status to activate your Pro license.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

Revertii does not collect, request, or have access to:

  • Your bank login credentials
  • Your personal financial transaction history
  • Your contacts, location, or device identifiers
  • Any personally identifiable subscription data
  • Any data for sale to third-party data brokers

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database hosting for your account and subscription data. Data is stored in a secure, encrypted PostgreSQL database (encrypted at rest).
  • Google OAuth: Optional secure social sign-in. If you authenticate with Google, we only access your email address and name to set up your account.
  • Paddle: Payment processing. Paddle is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
  • Vercel: Web hosting and anonymous analytics.
  • Logo.dev: Company logo rendering for visual display only. No user data is shared.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account credentials and subscription details are retained in the cloud for as long as your account is active. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated subscription data at any time from your settings panel or by contacting support.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.
  • Delete your account and associated cloud data permanently.
  • Export your subscription data as a JSON file at any time (available in-app).
  • Withdraw consent for authentication integrations at any time.

8. Cookies

Revertii does not use tracking cookies. We use essential cookies strictly required for authentication and session management when you sign into your account.

9. Children's Privacy

Revertii is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
